Description
Dansette Conquest vintage record player for spares or repair.
Motor and amplifier both work okay, but the record player really needs a full service including new stylus, or possibly complete cartridge.
Turntable spins, but sometimes needs a push to get going - usually a sign of old, hardened grease.
All potentiometers crackle, but can be used in a 'set it and forget it' way if you're not up for dismantling the whole thing to access and clean the pots.
It has the sought-after Dansette leg inserts on the bottom, but sadly no legs.
Bought this blind and haven't done much more than clean off the worst of the grime. Too much of a project for me, but could be a fairly easy fix for someone with the expertise.
