Description
Beautifully preserved first-generation Cooper Craft large standing Shire horse. Designed by Reg Cooper after visiting the Royal Show in 1969, this piece was modelled on the champion Shire and reflects the proud, upright stance of British draught horses.
Stands approx. 10 inches tall × 12 inches long and weighs nearly 3½ lbs. Classic Staffordshire pottery at its most nostalgic. Unmarked, as typical of early Cooper Craft output, with superb gloss glaze and no chips or cracks.
Ideal for collectors or as a standout display piece. Local collection preferred.
