Description
Complete set of collectors' plates depicting the Life on the Farm series by artist John Chapman.
These are made in fine Queen's Ware by Josiah Wedgewood & Sons Ltd. and include individually numbered certificates of authenticity and individual descriptive leaflets about the series and the artist. Series details and individual numbering is also shown on the rear of each plate.
The plates are for decorative purposes only, come in their original boxes and are in excellent
condition.
The set comprises of the following, also shown in the picture :
#1 in the series is Morning in the Farmyard; #2 Off to Work; #3 The Haymaking; #4 Binding the Corn; #5 The Blacksmith's Forge; #6 A Cooling Drink; #7 The Wheelwright; #8 End of the Day.
