Description
Measures 24 cm x 32 cm. In excellent condition (see photos) for age. Clean and ready to hang. Bottom left-hand corner is signed with the initials A.R.Q, which stands for Alfred Robert Quinton (1853-1934), an English artist who worked in water colours and was known for his paintings of British villages and landscapes, many of which were published in postcard form by J Salmon Ltd of Sevenoaks, Kent, and became very collectable. This is possibly a framed print of the original art work for the Shanklin Chine postcard. Sold as seen. From a pet and smoke-free home. (NB: If the item is shown on Gumtree it is still available.
