Civil Defence Corps gentleman volunteer badge.
A good original period gilt and enamel gentleman volunteer lapel badge.
EIIR Crowned title circlet 'Civil Defence Corps' on blue enamel ground, enclosing the 'Royal Lion of England' central device.
Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
Height 26mm.
Civil Defence organisations were disbanded In 1968.
Smoke free home.
