Offered here is an
Arts and Crafts , Bob Hunter, Wrenman ex Mouseman ,Golden Light Oak coloured , Handmade Rocking Crib or Cot by the Wren Man .
This was made approximately 50 to 60 years ago , it has never been used .
This is a stunning piece of handmade furniture made by a Mouseman apprentice ( he was an Apprentice to Robert Mouseman Thompson in Kilburn in North Yorkshire .
Bob Hunter was known as the Wren Man ,as he carved a Wren on all of his pieces .
This is a unique commissioned piece of work by Bob .
All of this furniture is of an exceptional quality . The mousemen apprentices have become to be known as The Critters Furniture Makers . His furniture is still made in Thirlby , near Thirsk in North Yorkshire and he is now in his 80s , and the workshops are thriving .
The pieces are all made to the same high standards .This was a bespoke piece .
It is in Excellent Condition and measures 36" x 25" x 20" .
It can be used in a nursery bedroom for a child or new born , or would be great to lay a top quality doll in .
It is in stunning condition , it would be the perfect gift for a lover of Yorkshire Critters furniture and a welcome gift to the proud new parents . Suitable for a boy or girl it rocks gently on shaped legs / feet .
This is in excellent condition with light wear . There are no splits , cracks or breaks . It has a fabulous patina and golden oak glow .

The panelling is magnificent , and the signature WREN , has been carved onto both sides of the piece within the panelling.
