Description
Consists of brass, copper, pewter and silver.
This is one of a pair of medals minted in France in 1827 to honor the leaders of the Israelites and their exodus from Egypt, Moses and his brother Aaron. The obverse carries a portrait of Aaron while the reverse has the image of the Ark of the Covenant guarded by the Cherubim. The inscriptions are in Hebrew.
