First Edition Christmas plate from 1976 by Royal Grafton.
This is one of a series of vintage collectible plates made by well-known English Bone China Company, Royal Grafton, manufactured in 1976 as part of a limited first edition 'Twelve Days of Christmas' this plate depicts a 'Partridge in a Pear Tree' from the Christmas Song ' On the first Day of Christmas'....Around the perimeter of the plate is beautifully painted holly leaves and red berries, with pinecones. It is edged with gold all around the top edge. Just beautiful! A lovely dresser plate.
