Location of role: Sefton Services

Rate of Pay: GBP29,338.17 – GBP31,300.74

Hours: 39 hours per week

Role Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader in the Sefton area, at Nugent Sefton Services specialise in providing high–quality adult social care services, focusing on individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health needs. The services aim to enhance the quality of life for its clients through person–centred care and support.

The Team Leader will play a crucial role in managing these services, supporting the Deputy Service Lead in daily operations. Responsibilities include leading and supervising a team of staff to ensure safe and effective care delivery, overseeing compliance with care standards, and implementing service improvement initiatives.

The Team Leader will be responsible for staff development through training and appraisals, maintaining accurate records, and engaging with stakeholders, including families and external professionals. This role is essential in promoting a culture of professionalism and respect while ensuring the well–being of those supported by Nugent.

Experience and Skills:

You will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities and effective organisational capabilities. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, or relevant experience or the willingness to work toward Level 3 or management qualification. You should possess a deep understanding of adult social care practices and regulatory requirements, along with experience in the sector, ideally in a supervisory capacity. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to person–centred care and have a proven track record of mentoring staff. You should be able to show empathy, positivity, adaptability and resilience are essential to creating and maintaining a collaborative team environment and ensuring high–quality support for the people we support. It s essential that you have your own vehicle and a full UK driving license. Benefits:
