St Michaels resort is a 4-star luxury spa hotel & resort in Falmouth, Cornwall with stunning sea views, sub-tropical gardens and a state of the art health club. The purpose-designed Spa opened in August 2018 with the largest Hydrotherapy pool in the south-west, two steam rooms, indoor and outdoor saunas, a Rhassoul suite, deep relax room, champagne nail bar, 10 treatment rooms and deluxe changing rooms.

We are looking for energetic and hard-working spa therapists to join our crew on a full or part time basis. Keen to WOW our guests, you will play a key role in providing an amazing experience for our guests. We are looking for spa therapists who enjoy working with people and are passionate about delivering the highest standards of guest service.

Spa Therapist role:

As a Spa Therapist, you will;

Have a real passion for spa and wellness

Provide therapeutic, holistic and beauty treatments, including a range of face, body, massage, and nail treatments

Actively promote a friendly, calm and relaxing environment for guests using all our facilities

Be driven by a desire to exceed your guests' expectations

Confidently sell treatment-linked retail products to meet sales targets

Uphold high levels of therapist appearance, spa cleanliness and hygiene levels

Assist in the daily cleanliness and guest experience of the Spa.

When not in treatments you will be required to be an AMBASSADOR for the Spa, greeting guests at reception and around the resort talking to them about Spa Treatments and upselling.

Job requirements:

Minimum of NVQ level 3 qualified

At least 2 year's spa experience

Desired 1 Year experience in a senior role

Must be available to work weekends

Excellent communication skills

Be prepared to train in our spa's specific treatments

Volunteer for new challenges

Take a flexible and adaptable approach to work, be able to work weekends

When not in treatments you will be required to be an AMBASSADOR for the Spa, greeting guests at reception and around the resort talking to them about Spa Treatments and upselling.

Able to perform:

Massage, Facials, Body Treatments, Manicure and Pedicures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: GBP13.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
