Sounds great, what will I be doing?

They will work closely with staff to identify service user needs and report trends to the manager during weekly meetings, supported by an action plan. The role also involves delivering and supporting training sessions at OH, as well as with service users on the12 steps to tenancy sustainment, both in groups and individually. The Senior will be responsible for ensuring staff meet targets around community engagement and combating loneliness, including delivering activities that promote wellbeing such as on–site sessions and nature walks. All plans must be maintained as live documents in line with Hestia standards, with exit surveys completed when service users move on. In addition, the Senior will manage complaints and compliments, hold weekly staff meetings to review caseloads, ensure health and safety standards are met, liaise with contractors, and complete regular room and building checks.
Alongside these responsibilities, the Senior will provide line management to Support Workers, Social Work Students, Pool Workers, and Volunteers, ensuring safeguarding and FIGS forms are accurately completed and service user surveys are submitted on time. They will manage their own caseload, oversee voids by coordinating contractors, ordering furniture and starter packs, and carrying out daily checks until rooms are ready. They will also maintain communal areas, monitor staff follow–through on delegated tasks, and ensure deadlines are met with a sense of urgency. The Senior will contribute to case studies for positive move–ons, manage office orders, complete eviction paperwork and evidence gathering, and keep the manager fully updated on service operations. This role requires a proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to supporting both staff and service users in achieving positive outcomes.
