Senior Support/Team Leader

13.35 per hour

Hours– Full–time & part–time contracts available

Working hours are on a shift pattern rota basis including some weekend working

The Opportunity: –

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic organisation in the pivotal role of Support Worker to work within a newly refurbished 12 bed residential care home for service users with mental health conditions

Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team, and delivering the best quality of care.

We work within the principles of person–centred support, enabling development and inclusion in our Service Users' everyday lives within the home and wider community.

Candidate requirements: –

This role will suit someone with a minimum of 2 years experience working within a care service. Must have experience in writing care plans and risk assessments.

Who is an enthusiastic individual and passionate about ensuring the safety of our service users is paramount and works within the remit of the safeguarding regulations

You will be leading a team of dedicated Support Workers and working alongside other Team Leaders and the Management Team. You are expected to provide excellent support to our service users who deserve the best support possible to enjoy a good quality of life.

You must have a willingness to undertake training on Safeguarding Vulnerable adults, person–centred planning, and other specific training that will be provided. You will be line–managed by the Registered Manager.

Relevant qualifications i.e. NVQ 2/3 in Care, or working towards a qualification

Experience: 2 years (required)
