Description

We are looking for a proactive and organised Resource & Onboarding Coordinator to join our office team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of recruitment, onboarding, and operations support — ensuring we always have the right trades in place and new starters are set up for success.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactively source and screen skilled tradespeople and subcontractors using job boards, CV databases, referrals, and networking.

* Manage job postings and respond to candidate applications in a timely manner.

* Conduct initial telephone screenings and shortlist candidates.

* Keep a “bench” of vetted trades ready for upcoming projects.

* Prepare and issue contracts, onboarding packs, and compliance documentation.

* Collect and verify required certifications, ID, and insurance details.

* Arrange system logins, access to relevant apps, and basic role inductions.

* Maintain accurate personnel and subcontractor records.

* Support the office team during busy periods — assisting with scheduling, supplier liaison, and client updates when required.

* Maintain and update internal recruitment trackers and onboarding logs.

* Provide weekly updates to management on recruitment progress and resource availability.

Requirements

* Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, or HR administration (ideally in maintenance, construction, or facilities management).

* Confident phone manner and strong relationship-building skills.

* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using online recruitment platforms.

* Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work to deadlines.

What We Offer

* £28k–£30k basic salary (DOE) + annual performance-related bonus.

* Clear progression opportunities as the business expands.

* Free parking

* Stable, growing company with a supportive team.

* Office based role

* Full time (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm)
