Deputy Manager Residential Care Home Up to GBP35,000 (Negotiable)

Location: Liverpool

Service Type: 50–Bedded Residential Care Home

Salary: GBP30,000 GBP35,000 (DOE)

Hours: Full–Time Permanent

Are you an experienced care professional looking to step up into a leadership role? Amber Mace is proud to be recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a well–established, 50–bedded residential care home. This home is dedicated to providing compassionate, person–centred care for older adults in a warm and supportive environment.

We re seeking a proactive and confident leader who can support the Home Manager with the day–to–day running of the service, staff management, and ensuring compliance with CQC standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with residential care home experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Home Manager with the overall management of the homeLead by example and ensure high–quality care is consistently deliveredSupervise and mentor care staff, including conducting supervisions and appraisalsAssist with staff rotas, recruitment, and trainingEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements and CQC standardsPromote a positive, person–centred culture within the homeLiaise with families, professionals, and external stakeholdersStep in as Acting Manager in the Home Manager s absence Requirements:

Previous experience working in a residential care home is essentialExperience in a Senior or Team Leader position within adult social careNVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (working towards Level 5 desirable)Strong leadership and organisational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesA compassionate and professional approach to care Benefits:
