Description

Are you an expert in regulatory compliance and quality assurance within children's residential care or supported accommodation?

We are looking for someone living along the M62 corridor (Leeds/Manchester)

The role will be home–based, with travel approximately 2–3 days per week to visit services and attend meetings.

About the Role:

We re seeking a Quality and Compliance Partner to support residential and supported accommodation services by developing and implementing a robust quality framework. You ll ensure services meet all legal and regulatory obligations, empower operations teams, and provide senior leaders with meaningful insights into performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct on–site and remote assessments of service quality. Lead development of a quality framework across residential and supported accommodation settings. Support teams in standardising policies, procedures, and templates. Oversee regulatory processes and liaise with Ofsted where required. Offer expert advice on quality and compliance matters to operational colleagues. Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies accordingly. Provide input on complaints and liaise with external PR support as needed. Coordinate liability claims and significant event calls. Collaborate with teams such as HR and Finance to embed regulatory strategies. Support legal liaison and internal governance systems implementation. Requirements:

In–depth knowledge of: The Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 The Supported Accommodation Regulations 2023 The Care Standards Act 2000 Proven experience in assessing service quality in residential or supported accommodation. Strong communication, organisational, and relationship–building skills. Familiarity with regulatory applications to Ofsted. Ability to interpret data to identify risk and drive quality improvements. Calm under pressure and confident managing multiple priorities. Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
