Are you based in the Northampton and looking for an opportunity to get into Occupational Health?

We are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join our clients' expanding peripatetic team. (Full training available)

The successful applicant will be required to travel throughout the UK, to client sites in order to deliver health surveillance services.

This is a full–time role where the successful applicant will work 37.5 hours per week, usually between the hours of 8.30am and 4:30pm.

You must be happy to frequently stay away from home during the week (Monday–Thursday) and be confident in working alone, whilst using your own initiative to offer a great service.

You will be Undertaking; –

Health surveillance screening.AudiometryLung function testing.Drug and alcohol testing.General baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis.To undertake and support additional tasks as requested, such as health promotion activities.Provide support to the whole occupational health team in helping the department to run smoothly and effectively, undertaking non–clinical tasks as requested.Who we re looking for

Sport Science graduate or background as an Emergency Medical Technician, transferrable health related field, Combat Medical or Ambulance AssistantAble to complete overnight stays and extensive travel throughout the UK (overnight stays may frequently be Monday Thursday depending on client requirements)Hold a full manual UK driving licence (must have held this license for a minimum of 12 months) and we will need to request a share code from you (this can be requested easily from the gov website)Experience and/or willingness to drive a van up to 3.5 tonnesCompetent IT user (MS office suite and/or electronic medical records systems)Ability to work autonomouslyGreat communication skills

Salary: GBP25,000 – GBP27,000 per annum (25k if you will require training, GBP27k if you have previous OHT experience)
