Service Type: Small Nursing Home

Hours: Full–time 40 hours per week

Amber Mace is currently recruiting for an experienced Nurse Manager to join a warm and welcoming nursing home situated near Liverpool. This charming and well–regarded home provides exceptional care for older adults, including those living with dementia.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Nurse Manager who can lead with confidence, inspire their team, and maintain the highest standards of clinical and person–centred care. You will take full operational responsibility for the day–to–day running of the home, ensuring both compliance and excellence in all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the overall management and daily operations of the homeLead and support the team to deliver high–quality nursing and residential careEnsure all staff receive effective induction, supervision, and ongoing developmentComply with NMC guidelines and uphold CQC standards at all timesPromote a positive, safe, and homely environment for residents and staffMaintain robust clinical governance, and continuously audit care practicesBe a visible and approachable leader, providing support and guidance to both nursing and care teams Requirements:

Registered Nurse (NMC PIN required)Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Home Manager or in a similar senior role within a care settingSound knowledge of CQC legislation and regulatory complianceExperience managing care for older people and individuals with dementiaRMA/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent in Health and Social Care ManagementExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsStrong understanding of quality assurance and person–centred careConfident in managing budgets, staffing, and marketing the service effectively Interested?
