Job title: Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant

Location: Bristol

Start: Wednesday 3rd of September

Pay rate: 100+ per day

Hours: 8:30 to 3:30 – Monday to Friday

We are seeking an Early Years Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join a large primary school in Bristol, to work in their nursery full time from September. The qualification is essential for ratios in the nursery, and for the right candidate it could become a permanent role

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the teacher and children in the nursery including providing personal carePromote positive behaviour management strategies and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environmentAssist with classroom organization and maintenance of resourcesSupport students' social and emotional development through effective communication and rapport–building

Requirements:

Early Years Level 3 Qualification (essential)Previous experience working with nursery aged childrenA patient and nurturing approach to supporting children's learning and developmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with staffFlexible and adaptable to the needs of the classroom and studentsBasic knowledge of the national curriculum and educational practices
