Position: Assembly Technician

Location: Aylesbury

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technician to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Aylesbury.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Technician to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

You will be responsible for:

Complete daily tasks as required by your manager to maximise productivity

Be prepared and flexible to work on various lines (cells) within the production area

Ensure tools, work instructions and work environment are maintained to 6s quality standards

Provide continuous improvement ideas and suggestions to the business

Escalate any quality and safety issues to your manager

Take instructions from your manager and work together with colleagues from Engineering, Quality, Customer Service and Warehousing

Previous Experience:

 Experience of working within production on several different products

 Good attention to detail with the ability to follow complex drawings and specifications

 Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments and electrical testing equipment

 Able to identify issues and solve technical problems

 Good communication skills

 Leads by example in attitude and work proficiency

 Able to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines, managing different customer needs

 Knowledge of quality control measures and procedures.
