Job Title: Driver and Assistant Gardener

Location:

Mobile role covering various sites in London, Surrey, and surrounding areas.

Start and finish each day at a yard based in Chobham, Surrey.

Company van provided for work use.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30

Full-time, permanent

Start date: ASAP

Salary:

Up to £30,000, depending on experience

28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Uniform, PPE, and training provided

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and practical individual to join a busy horticultural maintenance team as a Driver and Assistant Gardener. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone with a strong work ethic, who enjoys working outdoors and supporting high-quality garden care.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving a company van daily across London and surrounding counties

*

Assisting with garden maintenance tasks, including lawn care and seasonal work

*

Sweeping and upkeep of hard surfaces and outdoor furniture

*

Supporting general horticultural tasks: ground clearance, pruning, basic plant care

*

Safe use of tools, machinery, and (where trained) chemicals (PA1 & PA6 desirable)

Requirements:

Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)

*

Experience in high-end gardening or landscaping (preferred)

*

Good timekeeping and ability to follow direction

*

Comfortable working both independently and in a small team

*

Calm and professional manner, especially while driving

*

Willingness to learn and undergo further training
