Description

My client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and well–being of children in their facility, based in the LE5 area of Leicester

This role requires a strong leader with experience in children's homes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, be submitted to Ofstead, provide positive outcomes to children, supervising staff, and ensuring that all medication administration is conducted safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs. Supervise and lead a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure high–quality care. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Monitor the physical and emotional well–being of children in care, addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for children. Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medication administration and any changes in health status. Foster a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well–being of each child. Conduct regular assessments of care practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements

Supervisory or Management experience within a children's home Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and care plan development. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written A compassionate approach to care giving with a genuine desire to improve the lives of children in your care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a focus on individualised care. Be working towards Level 5, if not already held Be happy to be submitted to Ofstead
