Struan Lodge is a purpose-built care home located in the north of Edinburgh, providing exceptional Nursing, Dementia, and Palliative care for up to 30 residents. We take pride in offering a safe, supportive environment where residents are treated with compassion and dignity, and where our team are valued and supported in their work.

We are now recruiting Bank Care Assistants to join our close-knit, friendly team on a flexible basis. Whether you are an experienced carer or are looking to begin a rewarding new career in care, we would love to hear from you. Full training and support will be provided.

What We Offer

GBP12.70 per hourFlexible zero-hours contractPaid PVG, paid breaks, pension, and free uniform5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)What You Will DoAs a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care to our residents. You will assist with daily routines including dressing, mobility, and personal care, while promoting independence and choice. You will support each resident's wellbeing by following their personalised care plans and taking time to understand their preferences and needs. You will contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere by encouraging social interaction and ensuring each resident feels safe, respected, and valued. Your care and attention will make a meaningful difference to the lives of those we support every day.

What We Are Looking For
