Roche CoaguChek INRange System for self testing INR.
Ordered from Roche in 2020 during COVID to monitor my mother’s INR so that she did not have to attend the GP surgery for blood tests. Minimally used (still has protective cellophane cover on screen). Excellent condition (see photos). Comes in original packaging with original delivery note. Carry case, finger prick lancet device (with unopened box of lancets, past expiry date), USB connector, batteries, user manual and instructions, and a DVD guide to self-monitoring.
Excellent, easy to use device to self monitor the INR of your blood to obtain results which can be sent to your GP for review.
To use, a Test Strip is inserted into the device and it instructs you to add a drop of blood to the strip. On-screen help provides text guidance throughout the test procedure. In a few seconds, the INR is displayed. Test strips are not included in this sale but can be purchased separately from a number of medical retailers online (CoaguChek XS PT Test OST).
The device keeps a record of your results, your preferred INR range, trends etc. comments can be added to each result to keep a record.
The price of this device to buy new ranges from £322 to over £500 depending on where you purchase it.
