Avoid Reactive Roofing – Completely Unreliable and Unprofessional I would not recommend Reactive Roofing to anyone. I initially spoke to Alan, who came across as very professional. He sent over an impressive quotation on letter-headed paper, and everything looked legitimate and well-organized. We agreed on two possible start dates — the 9th or the 23rd of June — and Alan chose the 23rd. Out of the blue, on the 11th of June, Alan told me they would actually start on the 16th — a date we had never agreed on. Still, I went along with it. But on the 16th, no one showed up. I called Alan at 11:30 a.m., and his response was, “Oh, it's next week, isn't it?” — as if he had no idea what was going on. I let it slide and confirmed we’d stick with the original date of the 23rd. Then, on the 23rd, he messaged me saying the weather was too wet to start. The problem? It didn’t rain at all that day. I followed up on the 24th asking if the team would be there on the 25th (another dry day), and I was met with more excuses: he claimed he was let down by staff and scaffolding but promised he’d have a full team ready by Monday, June 30th. That was the last I heard from him. Alan stopped responding completely — no replies to calls, texts, or emails. During this time, scaffolding was left up on my property for four weeks, incomplete and unmanaged. I had to track down the scaffolding company myself to get it removed. Now I’m left without a roofer, and due to high demand, I may not even be able to get the work done this year. The amount of time, stress, and inconvenience this has caused is unacceptable. Alan’s complete lack of communication and failure to deliver on even the most basic commitments makes Reactive Roofing totally untrustworthy. Be warned — the initial professionalism is just a smokescreen. Once you're booked in, the service disappears. Do not waste your time or risk your project with Reactive Roofing.

Awesome work done with Awesome team. We chose to work with Alan after we received about 7 quotes for our fascias , scoffits and gutters. He was professional, came and had a look around, said what we needed to do in one day, they could do it, and how much it will cost I have to say we had a few that didn't listen to what we wanted, the questions we had. He also sent us a quote through a real email and not some text(I don't say that is wrong, but it just showed again the professional side of the team) They came and sorted everything in one day and it looks amazing. They also cleaned up while we were at work. We both enjoyed working with Alan he was honest and straightforward. Next year ( we hope so), we could afford to change the entire roof and will not even ask for quotes, but ring Alan. So, thank you very much Alan, for being reliable and professional, but also for treating us fair.

Had my flat roof recovered by Alan , who did a lovely job.Had quite a few quotes prior to having it done, but I must admit I found Alan the most helpful and in my opinion the most trustworthy. The job was done quickly and cleanly and professionally.

Excellent from start to finish. The owner Alan is a lovely guy who explains everything. Gave a really good quote and delivered outstanding work. The lads working with him are lovely too. Very highly recommended and in fact I’ve already booked in another job with them.

I was in need of a new roof, Alan contacted me straight away. He attended and provided me with a full detailed quotation which we were happy with. Alan kept us informed throughout the whole process which kept us stress free. The whole team were polite and friendly and our house was kept clean at the end of each working day. We are over the moon with our new roof and we would highly recommend.
