Description
Yamaha SB-70 from 1972 in the Tobacco Sunburst finish. These are hard to come by as they were only made between 1972 and 1973. This was the top of the line model. This features a "German Carve" and Chevron Inlays.
Comes in weighing 8lbs 8.5oz.
Spec wise you get;
- Rosewood Fingerboard
- 2 x Original Yamaha Pickups
- Maple Neck
The bass is in fantastic shape for its age. There is a little bit of cosmetic wear around the body and top of the headstock, but nothing nasty. Just honest play wear. All can be seen clearly in the photos.
The frets are all good and the electronics work as they should.
Comes complete with a gig bag.
