The father of the Fender Japan JV (Japanese Vintage) Strats, the "Brazen Picker" Super Power models were made in Japan at the famed Fujigen factory in the year prior to Fujigen Gakki signing their deal with Fender. As such, this guitar perfectly captures the look and feel of a '50s Strat, with a prominent V neck profile, trio of single coil pickups, and Ash body (3.4 Kg).
It has maple neck with a lovely deep Rosewood fretboard, frets are in excellent condition with virtually no wear (not sure if they are original or not). The guitar frets cleanly in all registers, the neck is straight, and the truss rod is responsive. This Greco adheres to traditional Fender spec with a 7 1/4" fretboard radius, 25 1/2" scale, and 1 5/8" nut width.
All Modification were done previous to my purchasing this guitar several years ago:
Electronics were upgraded with a quality custom set of Axusrus Texas Blues and register : N 6.56 / M 7.19 / B 9.05 (£165 Value)
Machine heads have been upgraded to Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners
Both front and back plates have been changed to mint green.
