It has a round neck for conventional playing as opposed to the square neck versions which are intended for lap playing; string height is set for slide playing rather than finger-style
It has a gently curved body shape and a stunning flamed maple finish which has found its way up to the headstock as well
The guitar plays and sounds fantastic too. Great for dirty slide blues, it's at home in any style, meaning anything from booming open chords to melancholy fingerpicked melodies sounds huge.
The VRC800AMF has a great level of acoustic volume, but the warm tones of the single coil, chrome-covered lipstick pickup in the neck position allow players to plug in if needed, and bring an extra dimension to the guitar's unique tone.
