Description
SX/Rondo lap steel, solid mahogany body, which has been heavily modified/upgraded with Wilkinson Waverley style nickel tuners, a GFS Pro-Tube high output lipstick pickup (WAY better than the stock crappy Strat style pickup) and a USA-made Peters aluminium flat-radiused wrapover bridge (in place of the stock huge, ugly and wobbly Chinese-made tuneomatic style).
In perfect working order, has gigged heavily so shows the odd scuff/knock and the bridge cover shows a bit of corrosion (looks much nicer without it anyway IMO!)
Comes with a solid and fully functional padded hard case.
Only selling as I have recently acquired a vintage Gibson EH-100 and don’t need two lap steels
These retail new for around £160 and the upgrades cost around £200 so this a great chance to get an excellent player’s instrument at a decent price.
