This is a truly fantastic S-type guitar (hard tail), put together and reliced by ERC (formerly k/a The Electric Relic Company) as a tribute to the first large headstock Stratocaster in 1966. It comes with a Fender Tweed gigbag and Fender Weighless Legacy strap.
Everything is genuine Fender - wide-space bridge, saddles, pick-ups (American Classic), neck plate, plastics and tuners etc. The neck is also an Allparts, Licenced by Fender - as used in many of Fender's own MIJ models. It features a rosewood fretboard with the correct 7.25" radius. Nut width is period correct 42mm and it's a medium C-shape. Overall weight is 7lbs 6oz.
The body is alder, but British-made, and Nitro-finished in Lake Placid Blue. This has then been expertly reliced by James at ERC - and, imho, I think this is at least on a par with Fender's own Custom Shop! Actually, that's why I ended up buying it... though I've since realised I'm not really a 'Strat' player.
The guitar was 'born' in 2021 and the only change I have made to it is to swap the plastics to a non-reliced parchment (again, genuine Fender).
