Description
Peavey ValveKing VK112 1 x 12” combo 50w RMS guitar amplifier. Great sound and very versatile.
Before the Peavey, I used a Fender Blues DeLuxe, also a great sounding amp, but the ValveKing goes a whole lot futher in terms of available sounds and overall versatility.
Both use 2 x 12AX7 pre-amp valves and 2 x 6L6GC power valves and output to a 12” speaker, but the Peavey than adds its Texture control, Resonance switch and three level footswitch.
The Texture control allows for total control of the power amp dynamics allowing for a Class A mode or full power Class A/B operation – or anything inbetween!
The Resonance switch allows fine tuning of the low frequency range. “Loose” setting produces the most lows with a slight clarity sacrifice and the “Tight” setting gives a slightly cleaner signal output.
A comprehensive set of controls for both the Clean and Lead cover all the adjustments you will ever need including 3 band EQ’s and various switcheable options.
Both channels share a two-spring premium reverb pan and effects loop.
The footswitch gives you Clean, Boost and then FU as I like to call it!
The amp is in very clean condition and comes with the original user instruction manual.
Footswitch included.
Peavey developed the ValveKing Series of amplifiers with one goal in mind – to put real boutique features and tone technology into the hands of real working musicians. In stark contrast to similarly featured "boutique" amplifiers, the ValveKing is no trophy-room amp – it’s rugged, road-ready and made to be played.
