Description
What we have here is a pair of partsocaster guitars, bundled (inextricably!) and priced low to get them out of my house. I don’t play any more and they need to go.
I put them together about 15 years ago - they’re eminently playable with decent electrics but are possibly of more interest for the constituent parts which are worth much more than the asking price.
White and black: no-name neck and strat-ish body with custom made scratch plate. There’s a swimming-pool route underneath but this is configured with two lipsticks and sounds bright and jangly as a result. Bridge and machine-heads are Wilkinson, pickups from Axetec. comes in a half-decent, as-new Stagg soft case.
Blue: the (possibly AllParts) body is alder and inexpertly finished, maple neck unbranded but a really nice piece with strong figuring, finished in Danish oil.. Locking machines are unbranded (Axetec again) but the rest of the hardware is good: original Wilkinson VS100 bridge, Kent Armstrong pickups, one hot blade humbucker and two cooler (still pretty warm) enclosed blade humbuckers. I never got round to totally finishing this, hence the missing scratch-plate screws and open back. I have a black trem cavity cover which I’ll bung in the case, along with a small collection of pick-guard screws, pick-up mounting screws/springs, pots, knobs etc.. Comes in a good quality, vinyl-covered plywood case.
Please, somebody, take these off my hands.
