Description
Well made Japanese vintage guitar, these Hohners were made in Japan for a few years in the 1970s. A faithful copy of the Fender Stratocaster of the time but it doesn't weigh a ton like some 70s Fenders.
It is nearly 50 years old so plenty of marks and bumps but nothing major. It is wired with one master tone, the middle knob doesn't do anything. This could be put back to normal easily enough. Frets are low and it plays OK with a low action.
It even comes in the original hard case which is structurally OK but 2 clasps are broken and the hinges are just about hanging on. OK to keep it in, or get it fixed up for the genuine vibe.
These Japanese guitars are a great way into the vintage market for little outlay, and they are often as good or better than the guitars they are copying.
