Description
Harley Benton all valve amp. The amp is in mint, pristine condition with no marks or scuffs, as new. 15 and 1watt settings, in 1w it has exactly the same tones as the 15w setting, only quieter. Only had light bedroom use, so the valves still have most of their life left in them.
Bought this after seeing the great reviews about it. I ended up selling my Fender Blues Jnr iii and keeping this as they were so well matched, i don't regret it one bit. I decided to upgrade the stock Seventy/80 speaker with this Celestion G12 M 65 Creamback (£120) to increase the tonal range, glad i did, the amp sounds fantastic, beautiful cleans, edge of break-up, overdrive thru 3x 12ax7 & 2x EL84 tubes. It's loud enough for pub gigs and quiet enough for quality bedroom & studio sounds.
Don't be put off By the name on the front, this is one of those 'Gems' that come around once in a while, great little amp. Sadly due to circumstances, i have to let it go.
In this condition, these go for between 170 - 190. You can decide if the £120 speaker upgrade is worth the little bit extra i.m asking. I know what i would do, in a heartbeat
