Description
Gibson Custom Shop ‘57 Les Paul Junior from 2005. This was purchased by me in Oct 2020, from “Richard’s Estudio 54” in Spain for £2,600. Unboxing video on YouTube (56k views). Vintage Sunburst, Weight: 7.71 lbs, Serial number 751318 (7 is ‘57, 5 is 2005). The guitar’s nitro lacquer was relic’d by me personally (using the accepted method of compressed air / hair dryer). This was my busking guitar and as such, has seen many hours playing time outside, plus appearances on my YouTube channel. It has the nicest chocolate-y rosewood finger board I’ve ever seen. Sounds incredible, plays flawlessly and everything works perfectly. I’m selling for two reasons, (1) my playing is leaning ever more to sparkling clean tones and (2) boosting the retirement savings pot! There’s no certificates but it comes with the original tailpiece (in the case). The Faber lightening bridge works so well with intonation, and sounds so good, that I never saw any need to go back to the original. A brand new Custom Shop Junior retails for around £3,700. A Heavy Aged version is more than £7k. This one is yours for £2,000. No trades or swaps. Pickup in person from my home in Edinburgh.
