Description
Fender Stratocaster in an uncommon Monaco Yellow finish, one of the lesser common finishes by Fender. Made in the USA in 1979 according to its S-9 series number, and as part of the international series. The guitar features the usual 3 bolt-on build with an Ash (?) body, a maple 21 Fret neck and maple fingerboard. The hardware consists of a chrome 6-Saddle Tremolo bridge and a set of Fender tuners. A trio of Fender American Standard pickups and are wired to a 5-way blade pickup selector switch, and the 3 knobs for volume, and tone. The pick ups appear original and the neck pocket shows a sticker with the same serial number as the head stock
The Maple C-shaped neck plays very well, slim enough for fast play of rhythm and solos. The maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers. Guitar has been used but is overall good for its age on the body and neck and frets. The neck is straight and there are no breaks. Some tarnishing to the hardware, comes with case.
