Description
This guitar has the classic combination of a Mahogany back with nicely carved thick Maple cap, Mahogany neck and a Rosewood fret board.
It has a pair of new Epiphone Humbuckers, premium CTS tone and volume pots, an orange drop capacitor and a three-way switch.
All the electrics work as they should, frets are polished and are not worn and neither is the fret board. The action has been set comfortably low. These points are very important especially if you are learning as a badly set up guitar will hinder your progress.
Two jack sockets were fitted by the previous owner as he had planned to install regular magnetic pickups connected to one socket and a piezo pickup to the other. Currently only one socket is being used but the second socket is ready to be wired up.
The scale length of the strings is the same as a standard Les Paul at 24.75 inches.
You will see in the pics there are 2 different discs with the three way switch - one plain silver the other black with white printing. Currently fitted with the black with white writing disc but supply whichever one you prefer.
An all round really nice guitar which is nice to play and sounds really great. However, the tuning tends to wander a little and will need a a little TLC to resolve this.
