Description
Stunning Gibson 1959 reissue ES-335 finished in Sunburst VOS. Its in exceptional condition with just a couple of barely visible blemishes on close inspection that we had to highlight under direct studio lighting to make them visible.
Period correct features including the chunky ’59 shaped solid Mahogany neck with rolled binding, accurate body shape with “Mickey Mouse ears”, Hot hide-glued quartersawn Adirondack spruce bracing, and historic truss rod. Other features include the 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 12" radius and Kluson Deluxe tuners.
The two MHS Alnico-III pickups deliver beautifully warm tones with a great response and a wonderfully open sound character. Just as fat sounding as their solidbody Les Paul sisters, but with an extra touch of airiness in the sound, which is a real joy not only with clean chords, but also with distorted Blues riffs.
