2008 Fender Classic Series 50s Esquire – Sunburst - Trades

Description

Classic Series 50s Esquire finished in classic sunburst. In very good condition with a few signs of wear/dings on close inspection - as photographed.

It features an Ash body and a comfortable maple neck with deep C profile and 7.25 radius. Fender usefully routed the body to allow for a neck pickup if the owner ever wanted to easily convert it to a standard Telecaster.

It’s surprisingly versatile for a guitar with only 1 pickup. In the neck position you the volume control, no tone control plus two capacitors and a resistor for a darker tone. In the middle you get the normal voicing with volume and tone control. At the bridge it selects the volume control only for maximum treble response. We've added a gig bag to keep it protected.
