1989 Fender Squier Stratocaster with Schaller locking tremolo, finished in ebony.

Lovingly restored here in the workshop, this guitar is a fabulous throwback to the land of big riffs and hairspray. Made in Korea, this guitar offers some of the finest components ever to grace the Squier range. The gloss maple neck, here topped by a slab of deliciously dark rosewood, is a fabulously playable thing and the Schaller locking tremolo is a piece of technology usually gracing guitars three-times the price. The HSS pickups sound excellent and include one replacement single coil pup at the neck. This HSS configuration provides a much increased tonal range from the standard Strat design.

This guitar is offered in good condition for age with only minor cosmetic wear commensurate with thirty-five years in the game. Tremolo arm is missing along with the two plates to the rear. The frets are in excellent shape with plenty of life left.

It has also been treated to a full String Theory service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting, electrics check and a deep clean.
