The Yamaha SG-700 was the work horse model of Yamaha's flagship SG range that was designed to compete with the Gibson Standard and became affectionate known as the "Les Paul Killer" . Handcrafted in Japan Its features include an Eastern Mahogany/maple body with a set Mahogany neck with Rosewood fretboard and paired with 2 humbucking pickups with coil tapping as factory standard, this is a rocky little brother of the acclaimed Yamaha SG-2000 and SG-1000 from this era.
Condition : in overall good condition for its age. A few nicks / dings / buckle rash / hardware tarnish etc but no breaks or repairs, minimal fretwear with plenty of life remaining. All original except for a new nut. Electronically everything works as it should.
