Pre CBS Fender P Bass in “player grade” condition
This is a great opportunity to buy a vintage bass for a gigging musician - I’m only selling as I’ve gravitated towards short scale basses as my vintage fingers don’t stretch like they used to !
Good Points - original finish on body and neck, original pickups, bridge, machine heads, recently re-fretted and sounds immense
Not so good - non original pick guard, body has had an extra route for additional controls at some point - now filled (original pick guard with extra holes included) non original pots, knobs and bridge cover
The bass is easy to play, the action is low and the neck is straight - it’s been gigged all its life and that’s how it should be - it’s a classic bass at a realistic price waiting to be played
Please come and try it out in Stowmarket, Suffolk - collection only comes with a modern Fender ABS Case to keep it safe
