Thanks to its great 'bi-amped' inspired design the Orange OB1-3003 300w bass combo is able to deliver everything from warm, clean tones to all out filthy grind!
Taking inspiration from the OB1 heads, the OB1-300 combo packs some all out rock tones into one powerful bass amp. Loaed with an Eminence Neodymium speaker, the bass response is deep and defined whilst the cabinet is front ported for extra low end girth. Whether you’re after a super subby throb, a mellow mid scoop, or a raunchy growl, the OB1-300 Combo has got you covered.
Many bass players love to bi-amp their bass sound, sending the clean warm lows to a dedicated bass amp whilst sending the highs to a guitar amp for added overdrive and harmonics. Now with the Orange OB1300C there is no need to take 2 amps to the show!
The OB1-300 splits the instrument signal into two paths. One side stays clean, with great clarity - essential for those all important lows, whilst the other side gets treated to up to two stages of distortion (to the upper harmonics only). The two elements are then combined via a foot switchable (optional foot switch available) Blend circuit, allowing you to adjust the mix of clean and dirty! The Class A/B all analogue circuitry also ensures that the amp is musical, even at super high gain levels.
Tweaking your tone couldn't be simpler thanks to the highly responsive active 3-band EQ that has been voiced to deliver maximum effect with its +/-10dB of boost or cut.
Other features include a balanced DI with ground lift, line level outputs for studio and live use.
