Markbass is one of the most popular bass amp brands in the world today.
Michael League, Marcus Miller, Richard Bona, Hadrien Feraud, and many other real top players around the world use Markbass.
This is the Little Mark Tube with a built-in tube, which is part of the popular small amp head series lineup.
With tubes and solids, the preamp offers a choice of two characters or a mix of the two.
Power is sufficient at 500 watts into 4 ohms and 300 watts into 8 ohms.
The controls look complex, but the main ones are Gain and Mix for each of the two preamps, a 4-band EQ, the familiar VLE and VPF, and a master volume.
The VLE filter is a vintage loudspeaker emulator that cuts high frequencies to create a mellow sound.
If you find it too hi-fi, this filter allows you to create the perfect sound for oldies.
The VPF filter is a variable preshaping filter that boosts frequencies around 35Hz and 10kHz and cuts around 380Hz.
This makes it easy to create a deep low-end sound perfect for rock and slap.
It also supports an effects loop, tuner out, and balanced out.
Despite all these features and power, it weighs only 2.3 kg.
When you look at the numbers again, this light weight has a big impact.
