Missed Connection at Brussels Charleroi Airport – May 4, 2025

On the morning of May 4th, 2025, around 11:30 am, at Brussels Charleroi Airport, I met a kind and handsome tall young man while waiting together in the crowd at the security checks.

We had a brief conversation—I don’t remember all the details, but I told him I had a flight in about two hours, and he said he was in the same situation. We stood close together in the queue.

He had striking red hair with freckles, big brown eyes, full lips, and a slightly upturned nose. He was speaking on the phone at the time. His accent was definitely English—quite posh, like from London. He looked to be around 30 years old, maybe a little younger or older.

At that moment, I was wearing a grey sweatshirt, brown pants, and carrying a black backpack. I have brown hair and brown eyes, I’m about 160 cm tall, and I’m a young woman in my late twenties. I might have smelled a bit of alcohol because I had been out the night before.

I don’t know his name or where he was headed, but I would really love to find him again and properly thank him for helping me feel calm and safe.
