Description
Yet another of the many operators in Yorkshire to no longer exist was Yorkshire Woollen District which operated in the Dewsbury area.
Together with West Riding, the company underwent various changes of ownership and is now part of the German Arriva brand.
This 1:76mm scale model of a 1930s Leyland TS8 epitomises what a “proper” single decker should look like in its dignified company livery: rather than that of the bland Arriva.
It has never been out its box (see specimen).
