We are well established and respected in the golf buggy refurbishment business and are approved agents for Top Caddy Batteries.
Top Caddy is the UK’s leading supplier of Lithium Batteries. They recently approached us for advice in designing their new 36v Lithium battery to ensure it fits seamlessly into an i-M4. We have been working closely with them on this over the past 6 months and the first shipment has just arrived in the UK. We are proud to be the first to be able to fit this new battery on to our buggies.

Here are some highlights about the new battery:

Our purchasing process.

We don’t take in trade in buggies. In our experience trade ins have multiple problems – some of which can be intermittent problems that even the best can’t get to the bottom of.
So we travel the country to find the latest model buggies. These buggies are typically from individual golfers that are giving up the game. We find that these buggies have always been well looked after, often with very little recent use and so are a great starting point to build from. Then we make them better!

Our Refurbishment Process:

Every buggy is fully stripped down and inspected.
All electronics, steering, brakes, suspension, wheels, tyres and battery systems are inspected, serviced and tested.

The heart of the i-M4 is the Curtis Controller. We use the full Curtis diagnostic toolset to diagnose and resolve any problems. Using the Curtis programmer handset we can also ensure that any replacement part e.g. twist throttle is correctly and safely adjusted and mapped to the buggy and controller.

We upgrade every buggy’s front suspension with a set of new shock absorbers. These have a higher weight rating and more damping and been proven to greatly improve the buggy’s stability and handling.

All bodywork, main shell and panels are removed and renovated.
We use a professional a colour matching company to scan each buggy’s colour and provide us with a perfect colour match paint. This allow us to address even the smallest paint scratches and marks.

In final test we don’t just run the buggy on the bench or around a trading estate to see how it goes. Each buggy is put through extensive final testing program that includes taking it out for a full 18 hole round of golf on a very hilly and demanding golf course ( and then we valet it back to showroom condition!) and only then do we sign it off as ready for sale.
