VINTAGE MUMM CHAMPAGNE BUCKET, ALUMINIUM ICE BUCKET, SEAU A GLACE - G H MUMM & Co REIMS, CORDON ROUGE BRUT - 1970s - REDUCED!

Selling our collections (hoards) of mostly French vintage items that have been acquired over many years until finally we have no room for more!

We got this vintage aluminium MUMM champagne bucket at a brocante in Reims, Champagne.
Brief research shows it to be quite a rare production for MUMM Cordon Rouge champagne dating to the late 1970s.
It’s surprisingly sturdy for its weight with two sound handles and Mumm Cordon Rouge to one side.
Used and now well worn but still in a good, sound, functional condition for it’s original purpose, or perhaps as an unusual planter…

In good vintage condition with heavy wear from use but no damage - please examine photos carefully for condition.
This has been well used but I have washed and checked it over and I can’t find anything other than heavy wear and scratches which I’ve tried to photograph - see photos.
Still watertight.
The handles are sound.
The interior and base are worn but sound.
I can find no maker’s mark but the front MUMM motif:
