Description

I provide specialist tuition in French to all levels. It doesn't matter whether you are an adult learner taking their first steps in learning the language, or an A-level student wishing to improve your final grade, I can help. I have been teaching French to all levels for over twenty years. If you are a school student, I am confident of improving your final grade. If you are an adult learner, I can help you improve your speaking and understanding of the language.

I offer both face-to-face and online lessons, at the same rates. Online lessons can be arranged for any time or day to suit you, and can be performed through a number of easily-downloadable platforms, such as Google Meet and Zoom, which I can set up.

Excellent tutor. Peter has been teaching me since February and my french has improved a lot. Even during lockdown I have had lessons over Skype and peter emails me the worksheets beforehand. He structures it in an excellent way and I work at my own pace he has been extremely patient. Can’t recommend him enough.

We are new immigrants and my daughter started to study French in year 10. She was struggled with it and really met a huge obstacle. But with Peter's help throughout year 11, she eventually managed to get a Grade 6. I am very happy to see the results. He is now helping her with her A-level French again. Peter is a fantastic tutor who has fostered a passion for French in my son and helped take him from someone who enjoyed completing lessons on Duolingo to being a confident GCSE student. He was always well organised and prepared, providing materials and online resources ahead of each lesson. He teaches lessons that are engaging and explains concepts in ways that my son found easy to understand . He also has a wealth of experience working with students sitting exams with a variety of exam boards and gave my son excellent advice ahead of his recent exams. Peter is very responsive with communication and was always happy to put aside time to discuss progress or address any concerns. He was also very flexible when we've needed to rearrange lesson times. My son and I would both highly recommend Peter if you're looking to learn or improve French!
