Hello, my wife bought this car from Julian Vardy in 2019 who looked after our cars at the time. Julian has an independent garage in Williton and he had got it from the auctions. 90,000 miles at the time so my wife has done 48,000 miles in her since then - about 8000 miles a year travelling from home to work in Williton with a few trips to Devon where we have a caravan. A new clutch in 2023. New exhaust box in 2023 too. Various other bits and bobs every year to keep her well. Apart from an initial problem with injector seals (sorted under guarantee by Julian) the engine has never been any trouble and my wife has insisted on regular oil and filter changes as well. Bodywork is generally in very good order altho she was keyed on one panel a couple of years ago whilst we were living in Minehead town centre. Most of the cars in the street were keyed at the time.

We have always driven old cars and normally keep them until they are ready for the breakers. However my wife was given a little money by a relative and now, semi-retired, she decided to treat herself to a younger car, hence the sale.

The car pulls well, has plenty of power for the patient driver and comes with a 'new second hand' battery courtesy Spencer in Williton. There are various advisories on the MOT but mostly tyre related and the spare tyre is a new tyre. Perhaps a brake pipe might need doing next year. (pic of MOT and advisories attached).

I can't see any record of a cambelt change so I called Julian today and he's pretty certain we never had the belt changed but that, because it was 12 years old at the time, it would likely have had a cambelt change prior to us buying the car. We have various receipts for work done including the clutch (done by C and C in Minehead) but because we normally keep our cars until the end we are not that careful keeping receipts for works done. The last MOT was done by Rob and Wayne at Bilbrook Garage which included two brake pipe replacements and the sill welding.

A genuine sale of a reliable little motor which should do well for a few years yet with a little TLC every year.
