Excellent condition 2005 Toyota Alphard camper conversion. Japanese import. Clean overall. Mileage in photos shows kilometres and has done just over 105000 miles which for the year is exceptionally low. The gearbox is automatic and also features low gearing for towing or extreme hills or poor surfaces.
The rear kitchen camper conversion was completed around 5 years ago by a company in Bedford. It is a great spec roomy 2 berth but can be set up with just half of the provided bed conversion cushions to make a spacious and comfortable single berth option for single travelling. I've owned this camper for just under 5 years, it's sailed through every service, inspection and mot test its had and it's not skipped a beat wherever it's been driven. The bulletproof Toyota engineering and its 2.4 petrol powerplant is smooth through the gears and still sounds like a sewing machine. I've towed a trailer, a motorcycle and recently a large caravan without any problems either. Recently had the wheels refurbished and powder coated with a fresh gloss black with the addition of 4 brand new higher more aggressive tread pattern for better grip on grass/mud.
Included is the folding cushions that make up the large full size double bed in the rear and the cushions that form the kitchen table seating area. The leisure battery holds power well and runs the entertainment system which includes a dvd player, cd player, mini disc player and built in music storage disc which holds hundreds of cd tracks without the need to have the discs in. The lights include room lights and spot lights over the rear kitchen worktop and gas hob. The kitchen features gas hob with gas bottle included, sink with outside drain, electric water pump, water storage container and cold water tap.
The van has a vast amount of pocket and cubby holes for storage. The seats are superbly comfortable with armrest on both fronts and rear seats. Central arm rest pulls down with drinks holders inside. Centre console has fold out table, drink holder and large cubby. Rubber mats throughout. Privacy glass to rear and included in the sale are the window covers which are thermal for winter and reflective for summer stays, keeping the warm in and the cold out and vice versa. Also included large Vango magnetic awning with connectors which is unused and in original packing. Also included is an awning carpet purchase the same time, also unused.
This is a superbly comfortable vehicle to both drive and stay in. I will genuinely be sad to see it go. Happy to facilitate visits to see it around working hours and whilst I'm happy to negotiate, I'm in no rush to move it on and it's too good to be giving it away at a silly price. These fully converted Alphards are going all around the country for £19-25k+ all day long. Grab a well specced, great condition bargain and take yourselves away in comfort and style. £13500 ono
